We provide excellent facilities, including well-maintained courts, development sessions, regular social events and competitive leagues. Join us to improve your game, meet new people and enjoy the fast-paced fun of squash!
Social Squash

Island Bay has a vibrant social squash scene. Open to all skill levels our squash club nights offer friendly games and matches in a relaxed, supportive environment where competition meets community.
Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, you'll enjoy exciting rallies, great exercise and the chance to connect with fellow squash enthusiasts.

Club Night
Every Monday evening (apart from public holidays) from 7:00pm - 9:15pm. Free for all senior members and only $5 for non-members.
Social Intraclub
Thursday evenings from May to August (Winter block) and October - December (summer block). Social hit with members of similar ability.
Squash 101
Group beginner coaching session held periodically throughout the year. Get in touch to find out our next offering.

Squash Interclub
Competitive play in the Wellington region
Island Bay is well known on the squash interclub scene - both for our sportspersonship and competitiveness.
Interclub is held throughout the year with rounds held in summer, autumn, winter and spring. Competitions are held on:
Tuesdays - men's competition, and
Wednesdays - women's competition.

Squash tournaments bring players together in thrilling competition, testing skill and strategy on court.
You must be a member of Island Bay to represent our club and also have to be on the Squash NZ grading list to compete.
